Delays

Delays are a very important part of botting that are often overlooked. We will explain the best practices on the most popular sites. Please note* these are just recommendations, try to find what works for you and see what the bot guides say.

Monitor Delays - the delay at which the bot looks for the product.

Retry Delays - the delay at which the bot waits after an error occurs.

Checkout Delays - the delay at which the bot waits at the checkout screen before checking out. Really only applicable for Supreme.

Shopify

For Shopify, monitor and retry delays are the only delays applicable. Retry delays should be set at ~3000 ms. Below is a guide for monitor delays.

• Start your tasks ~9 minutes before the drop with very high delays.

  • 10000-12000 ms.

• 1 minute before the drop, lower your delays.

  • 3000 ms.

• Optionally, 15 seconds before, lower your delays again.

  • 1000-1500 ms.

Supreme

For Supreme, monitor and checkout delays are the only delays applicable. monitor delays should be set at ~3000 ms. Below is a guide for checkout delays.

• Depending on the bot, suggested checkout delays may vary.

• Run a mix of delays ranging from 0-5000 ms.

Note: when running browser modes, delays should be lowered. I suggest running a delay of 0 when doing so, but you should always read your bot's guides.

• Use this calculator to calculate safe retry delays.

• If the site is dead, raise delays.

• If you are using DC proxies, raise delays

• With residential proxies, the lower the delays, the more data you will use.

• Generally, 3000 ms delays are safe.
